Terms of service

Last updated 9 October 2026

You own the data you put into Imari Pro. We provide the software to manage it. Imari Pro records payments but does not hold or move money. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.

01Agreement

By using Imari Pro you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept them for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

02The service

Imari Pro is software for recording properties, units, tenants, leases, invoices, payments and maintenance work. It records payments that you receive; it does not process, hold or transfer money. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for the documents, such as invoices and statements, that you issue from it.

03Accounts

  • Accounts are created by an administrator, who sends an invitation to set a password.
  • Each account is for one person. Keep your password confidential.
  • Administrators are responsible for the users they invite and the buildings they assign to them.
  • Tell us promptly at info@imaripro.com if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Imari Pro for any unlawful purpose;
  • try to access accounts, buildings or data you have not been given access to;
  • upload malicious content or interfere with the operation of the service;
  • share your sign-in details with anyone else.

05Fees

Fees and payment terms are set out in your service agreement with Imari Pro. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any change to them.

06Your data

You keep ownership of all data you enter. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can ask us for an export of your data, or for its deletion, at any time.

07Availability

We work to keep Imari Pro available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Where practical, we give notice of planned maintenance. We are not responsible for outages caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

08Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Rwandan law, Imari Pro is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

09Ending the agreement

You may stop using Imari Pro at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. After an account is closed you can request a copy of your data within 30 days.

10Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell account holders by email or in the app before the change takes effect.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Kigali.
